This past week we attended the funeral for the niece of some close friends. The young girl was diagnosed in utero with a condition which made her very survival extremely unlikely. Her mother rejected her doctor’s advice to abort her and found a doctor who actually practiced the Hippocratic oath and respected her life. Baby Hannah was born alive, met her mother, father, sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, communicated as babies do, held her fathers finger and went home to the Father after receiving the Sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation. A life much to short by the worlds standards but a full and complete life lived in communion with our Father.
