A Really, Really, Really Big Place

The picture above is from the Hubble telescope which was trained on a small section of the universe and taken over an 8 day period, slowly soaking up all available light. The visible galaxies filling the little section of sky that the Hubble was viewing really illustrate the immensity God's creation. Our galaxy the Milky Way is a smaller galaxy in the universe with some 100 billion stars which takes light travelling at the speed of 186,000 miles per second approximately 70,000 years to traverse. With another 150 billion galaxies spinning around creation it is very easy to become overwhelmed by the sheer size and scope of God's masterpiece.
