Along with the traditional attempts at mortification like no sweets and or media I will try to spend time each day in quiet reflection and contemplation at Adoration. Our book club has chosen Jesus of Nazareth by Pope Benedict XVI for our next book and it should dovetail nicely with Lent. As a family we plan to go to The Stations of The Cross and Linda and I will attend Sunday night Vespers. With as much hustle and bustle and noise as we generate I cannot tell you how much I am looking forward to this challenge.
